We consider a modification of the susceptibleinfected-susceptible (SIS) epidemiological model for modeling the spread of computer viruses. The model includes a reintroduction or reinfection parameter, which models the re-release of a computer virus or the introduction of a new virus. We analyze the behavior of the model, and compare the results to previous research and to simulations.
